Thanks, Keith. Ground fog has a tendency to do that - as it obscures the details, it has a similar effect on color.

Yes, I've seen that too, but this is such a dramatic example. The faded but still vibrant green grass on the ground but just a hint of green in the leaves on the trees. I love this shot.

Actually, it'd be pretty fun to put a ghost in there. A really scary person or zombie or something! :-P

But then again, it would ruin a truly beautiful image.
