Border Collie Maya - 2 years old in this image, was a fixture (good or bad) in our home. She has since moved to a family friends farm where she can have the running, herding life she needs.

Beaumont Alberta, one of our regular Rainbow trout ponds. Sunset in the summer can be beautiful. Combine that with a passionate pastime, and it's magic.

Less than magical foreground - but lightning always seems to make the foreground less important anyway. Someday I'll have an amazing scene - and lightning will find it's way in just at the right time. Also - dig the sodium vapour cast compared with the blue / grey of the lit sky.
