I think this is a lot improved over my first edit, thanks to slowdncr's help and suggested edit. (His edit was probably better than mine but changed the atmosphere in a direction I didn't want to go for.)

Not entirely happy with this, as it doesn't come near the impact this scene made on me. I feel it's OK, and reality was awesome... Definitely better bigger.
Suggestions and feedback welcome!
(BTW, if this doesn't look that blue to you: for the sky and mountain I corrected WB to 10,000K; the foreground even more.)
