updated version of previously submitted shot. ...cropped that ugly white mess from the bottom so that i might submit this as part of a piece to a local art show next month.

this is the underbelly of the bridge over the Cuyahoga River heading along the "inner belt"...a portion of Interstate 90 through downtown Cleveland.

large title is a poly-entendre. it refers to: (1) the vaulted ceiling of this gallery, inexplicably, has the ordinal directions as a prominent feature, (2) Garfield is, along with many of his peers, often forgotten to history, and (3) well, he's dead...lost and gone forever.

long lost shot from 2002 or 2003 taken with my old crappy kodak. i lost track of the original file a few years ago but was able to rescue this from another site. this is a set of stone stairs at a plaza near the Cuyahoga River in downtown Cleveland. i used to walk past here every morning on my way into work. i felt it was very pretty on this particular morning.

this reminds me a bit of the artwork for Dusted's When We were Young and also Where the Wild Things Are. When We were Young is a concept recording composed around the children's-book-for-adults Safe From Harm. the recording was originally released in 2000, again in 2001, and completely re-done for a third release in 2005. it was finally accompanied by the book for the last release.

a retired fighter plane mounted outside a local, themed restaurant. the theme is essentially WWII. and everybody knows, nothing satiates hunger like thoughts of nazis, concentration camps, shattered families, millions dead...woo! the good ol' days. let's eat!
in fairness, the place is quite nice and the food is decent.
