view large East Fourth Street in Cleveland, OH during a light snow storm. it's only a block long but is probably the most lively appearing street in the city.
this image is one in a series of my first experiments with HDR and is a composite of 5 shots. most of the haze shown here is not noise or artifacts, it's snow.

mmm...pre-packaged breakfast to go. i digs banana. did you know (banana facts)... - Cavendish bananas are endangered? yes, we'll have no bananas - that the banana is THE single most nutritionally complete food item in the world. - bananas have been cultivated to be seedless but, wild bananas are actually loaded with seeds ? - that what most people call a 'bunch' of bananas is actually a 'hand' of bananas? a bunch is actually the large cluster cut from the tree which is made up of many hands. - that, likewise, individual bananas are called 'fingers'? - that bananas don't ripen until cut from the main host plant? - a banana 'tree' isn't a tree? it's actually an herb. - that, if you ever need to divide a banana into thirds, you can simply push lengthwise down the center of the banana and it will split in thirds? (peel it first)

incidentally, this image isn't quite as contrived as it appears. the only thing i added to the scene was me and my camera. all else is exactly as i found it.
